Parents,
At today's workshop, your child received a packet of audition materials with instructions for next week. In case that packet didn't make it home, the online sign-up can be found here and a copy of the packet can be viewed here.
Your child should have the following three things for their audition:
- Online sign-up form completed
- Prepared monologue (found in packet)
- Prepared song (options in packet)
Callbacks will be held by invitation on Thursday, October 3rd. We will send out a callback list to every parent by Tuesday evening. If we need your child for callbacks, we will send you the material in advance so they have time to practice.
We are expecting a high number of auditions this year (potentially 70+). Because of this, there is a possibility that we will double cast the lead roles or split the cast entirely. We are dedicated to giving a role to every student who auditions, and this may complicate the schedule or cause additional stress to the actors. Your children are aware of this possibility, and we would appreciate your continued support as we decide the best way to approach the situation.
